A U.S. Magistrate Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana today ruled that Managing Partner Mark S. Zaid was an expert on prepublication review classification challenges. The decision was issued in the case of Matthew Bissonnette v. Kevin Podlaski et al., which is a legal malpractice lawsuit arising from the 2012 publication of the NYT’s best seller No Easy Day. Bissonnette, who hired Mr. Zaid as his expert witness, was a member of Seal Team Six on the raid that killed Bin Laden in 2011.

The Court’s decision can be read here.

Mr. Zaid has handled more prepublication review challenges than any other lawyer.
